What is Do More 24?
Do More 24 is the DMV’s largest annual 24-hour online fundraiser, powered by United Way of the National Capital Area. We invite you to be a champion for DC youth by serving as a Do More 24 Hillcrest Ambassador.
When will Do More 24 take place?
It begins on-line starting at noon on Thursday, May 17 to Friday, May 18 at noon.
What is Hillcrest Center’s goal?
Our goal is to raise $2600 to provide incentives for our youth programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and It’s A WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) are two Hillcrest specialty programs designed to help our youth on the road to recovery. Lack of attendance can be a barrier to the success of our youth clients. We want to boost their participation in our programs by offering incentives.
Background on Hillcrest Center Youth Programs
The Intensive Outpatient Program stabilizes the lives of youth that demonstrate the need for substance use treatment services, and prepares them for successful living, community re-entry and family cohesiveness. It’s A WRAP helps youth take charge of their mental health by teaching them wellness techniques based on the principles of WRAP.
