
Fun Ways to Beat the Winter Blues
- Sunlight
- Get outside
- Take a nap
- Get a massage
- Smile (really)
- Purge (the things around you are an indication of what is going on inside you)
- Sex
- Snuggle up with someone, near a cozy fire, or with a book
- Work out
- Eat healthier
- Drink Tea (chamomile)
- Plan an escape (hopefully somewhere fun and warmer)
- Know it is temporary (it’s a frame of mind)
- Eat dark chocolate
- Get outside in the sunlight
- Go out on a date with friends or a significant other
- Rearrange your space, since you will be inside more this time of year
- Meditate
- Add Vitamin D to your regiment
- Therapy
- Go to bed earlier
- Talk to your doctor
