The Hillcrest Center’s Food Pantry Project, sponsored by United Healthcare, is a community-driven initiative dedicated to reducing food insecurity and supporting local families in need. Through this partnership, the project offers consistent access to both perishable and non-perishable food items, ensuring that individuals and households facing hardship can rely on a safe, welcoming place for essential nourishment. By combining Hillcrest Center’s longstanding commitment to community well-being with United Healthcare’s support, the Food Pantry Project strengthens our collective ability to promote health, dignity, and stability for our neighbors.
Beginning December 5, the Food Pantry will be open at our Southeast DC Clinic (3029 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. SE) on the first Friday of every month from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm.
