Physical and mental health are deeply connected. During May 18–24, Week 4 of , the focus is the connection between physical and mental health, and to provide resources that promote integrated, whole-person care.
For people living with chronic pain or illness, mental health can be affected—and mental health issues can affect physical well-being. People facing both mental health and substance use disorders often experience additional challenges in isolation can lead to missed opportunities for diagnosis, recovery, and long-term stability.
