Freestanding Mental Health Services

The Freestanding Mental Health Service (FSMHS) unbundles Mental Health Rehabilitation Service (MHRS) services by offering psychiatry and/or therapy for individuals who may not require a community support worker.  Freestanding operates as an independent behavioral health service, that includes a team of nurses, psychiatrists, therapists, and other trained behavioral health providers.

Psychiatry Services
Psychiatric care begins with a comprehensive evaluation to assess mental health needs, identify an accurate diagnosis, and determine whether medication may be helpful. Providers work collaboratively with the individual and, when appropriate, their family to develop a medication management plan.

Therapy Services
Individuals selecting therapy are assigned a therapist who works with them to create personalized treatment goals. The therapist provides evidence-based interventions and resources tailored to the individual’s diagnosis and recovery needs.

Our Values

Treatment is a partnership between the client, staff, and a network of family and friends; strength is found through that community.

Fostering healing in a safe, trusted environment is critical for the well-being of those we serve.

Individuals’ efforts in seeking help reflect a foundational strength for recovery and growth.
